Internal Steps, Beach Entries and Swim out shelves

Internal steps can be constructed in any shape or size and located anywhere that suits your pool, giving the swimmer easier access into the water.

Today pool owners are enjoying a more “natural” design, such as a “beach entry.” Much like a beach that gradually descends into the ocean waves, a beach entry pool features a deck that gently slopes beneath the surface of the water and becomes increasingly deep as you move forward. This is a great idea for younger children to play in.

Some pool owners are also incorporating a swim out shelf into their pool. This is simply a larger step or shelf, generally only 50-60cm or so deep, that allows swimmers and loungers alike to dabble in the water without becoming entirely immersed.
